- Learning data: lesson progress, quiz answers, streaks, levels, and activity history.
- Audio data (optional): voice recordings/pronunciation samples you submit, plus related metadata (time, language, device).
- Device & usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser/app version, approximate location (from IP), logs, analytics events.
- Payment data (if you subscribe): purchase status, plan type, billing country, transaction IDs (we generally do not store full card details; payment processors handle that).
- Support data: messages you send to support and any attachments you include.
2) How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Provide and operate the Service (accounts, lessons, progress, audio features).
- Personalize learning and improve learning quality.
- Maintain safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
- Process subscriptions and manage billing status.

3) Legal bases (EEA/UK style)
- Contract: providing the Service you request.

4) Audio contributions
If you submit recordings, we use them to provide pronunciation/audio features and improve quality (e.g., matching, feedback, dataset balancing). You can choose not to submit audio contributions and still use many core features.
5) Sharing & processors
We may share data with:
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, CDN) used to run Minoko.
- Analytics/monitoring providers to understand performance and usage.
- Payment providers (e.g., Apple/Google/Stripe) to process subscriptions.
- Legal/compliance when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
6) International transfers
Minoko is hosted in Europe (EU/EEA). Some service providers may operate in other regions. Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required (such as contractual protections).
7) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize data where feasible, unless retention is required by law.
